LITRE publish User Assessment on the latest pump from Fresenius Kabi

Looking into the Requirements for Equipment (LITRE) is a standing committee of PINNT which is a multi-professional panel. It is led by patients and convened to look at equipment and services.

We are pleased to announce that the LITRE report on the Fresenius Kabi Ambix nova ambulatory parenteral nutrition pump has been published.

The User Assessment took place during November and December 2021. The final report was approved in February 2022.

The report covers key aspects on this pump along with the recommendation for parenteral nutrition ambulatory pumps and relevant kit for all pumps.

If anyone at home on parenteral nutrition would like to know more about this pump, please contact your own healthcare team, not your home supplier. The decision about a pump is a clinical one, therefore it must be discussed with them.

PINNT would like to thank Fresenius for their cooperation during the process. Also the LITRE expert panel for volunteering their time to support the user assessment.

You can read and download the report here.
