Bupa Westminster mile run for PINNT

sponsorformlink.png

We can confirm that we have 10 runners in the Bupa Westminster Mile, a new one-mile running event around London's St James's Park which is being delivered by the London Marathon in partnership with Westminster City Council.

Our places have been donated by Bupa Home Healthcare to use as a fund raising event for PINNT. Now it's your turn to help PINNT.

The series of 30 one-mile races will be held on Sunday 26th May 2013 starting on The Mall and finishing outside Buckingham Palace. With the first race starting at 9.30am and the last at 3.30pm, the action throughout the day will be intense.

Course Details

This Olympic Legacy event begins on the iconic Mall, at the same start line Olympians and Paralympians used for the Marathon and Road Cycling events in 2012.

Runners will start off towards Admiralty Arch making a right turn into Horse Guards Road following the perimeter of the world famous St James Park. You will pass in front of Horse Guards Parade used for centuries for state visits and trooping of the colour, after the Parade Ground they will continue behind Downing Street and the Cabinet War Rooms before making another right turn into Birdcage Walk.

When they make this turn they will be in the shadow of Big Ben, the second half of the race will take them past Welllington Barracks, one of the barracks used to house the Guards of Buckingham Palace. Once past here they will turn right into Spur Road where they will enter the home straight and a memorable finish in front of Buckingham Palace.

Each runner will be making their own way to the event. Each will be raising money for PINNT.

While many of us would like to take part its just not possible. We can all show our support by trying to raise some sponsorship, every pound will count.

PLEASE download a sponsor form and support our runners.

A Virgin Money Giving page will also be set up for general donations. In addition to this each runner will seek their own sponsorship.

PINNT need the funds this can bring in to support the work of our charity so we hope you will support this by passing round a sponsor form for PINNT.
