Hair Loss in Home Parenteral Nutrition

Following queries to PINNT regarding hair loss in people who are receiving home parenteral nutrition we are pleased to offer the following feature which discusses the issue.
Professor Gil Hardy is currently Professor of Clinical Nutrition, Institute of Food, Nutrition and Human Health, Auckland, New Zealand. Gil's has previously worked in many areas of parenteral nutrition, in fact he was instrumental in the preparation and discharge of the first home patients in the UK. In his professional role as a pharmacist Gil has taken on the plight on patients on home parenteral nutrition spanning many years. Gil was a guest editor in Online December 2009.
