Exploring clinical and non-clinical waste in home nutrtion support - 2025 follow up report
Today we are delighted to share the results of the follow-up report to the survey exploring clinical and non-clinical waste from home nutritional support.
The results of the original survey (2024) were released during HAN week 2025 which lead to much discussion about the situation. PINNT felt it important to get an update on the situation and so the update survey was released ahead of the last year's HAN week.
As you know the original survey was born out of genuine concern from our PINNT members. Many felt that valuable products, resources, and time were being wasted within homecare services, causing frustration and unnecessary stress. Their voices must be heard.
The findings send a strong and consistent message – we must improve
collaboration, coordination, and communication across the board. This report serves as a powerful reminder that the homecare services we depend on must be supported, protected, and sustainable.
