Investiture at Windsor Castle

PINNT' Chair receives MBE
 
On Wednesday 16th April 2025 at Windsor Castle Carolyn Wheatley attended her investiture to be presented with her MBE by the Princess Royal.

The sun shone, although is very cold but nothing would deter the honour and sense of occasion.

Carolyn has been recognised For Services to Patients with Intestinal Failure. Carolyn says "Honestly, I am still overwhelmed with being given this award but having received my medal it now feels real. Windsor Castle was amazing, intimate and grand and everyone made us feel so welcome. As they say it passes so quickly but the memories will last forever."
