Our initial request for coordinated communications to those affected by the Calea PN supply issue has been inaugurated.
NHS England and NHS Improvement (NHSE&I)
, the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), Calea and PINNT will be holding joint meetings at regular intervals.
The first meeting was held in December 2019 where a number of action points were agreed. The priority was to send a general update letter to PN patients with Calea. As the situation continues to evolve, it is important for everyone to receive the same information. The letter can be read via this link: NHS update letter
