You can apply for a national card that will entitle the holder (that s you) to one free ticket for a person accompanying you to the cinema.
Do you enjoy going to the cinema?
If you meet one or more of the following criteria:
a) Be in receipt of the disability living allowance or attendance allowance.
b) Be a registered blind person.
You can apply for a national card that will entitle the holder (that s you) to one free ticket for a person accompanying you to the cinema.
The card is valid for 1 year. There is a £5.50 charge for the card, a small price to pay for unlimited use for one person for a three years! Ensure the cinema you are planning to attend accepts the card. When you arrive merely shown the card at the ticket office and you will be given a free ticket. You can also book in advance via a special freephone number 0800 138 3315 (this is a special line for wheelchair bookings but will take CEACard booking, payment will need to be given upon booking).
