Hi My name is Lynn Tourle, and I live in East Sussex, in March 09, I sent out letters to existing members who lived in Sussex and parts of Kent, inviting them to join me in starting a new PINNT support group.

I have decided the easiest way to work out who to invite (i.e. catchment area) was to do it by hospitals.  The hospitals are:-
The Princess Royal, Haywards Heath.
The Royal Sussex County, Brighton.
Eastbourne District General, Eastbourne.
The Kent and Sussex, Tunbridge Wells.
The Conquest, Hastings.

These hospitals may not be the hospitals that you attend for your clinics, but would be the nearest to you geographically.

If I have missed anybody out or you are happy to travel to our meetings, please get in touch, so that I can keep you informed of when and where they are.

Community Dieticians/New Members

It is my intention to make contact with all the community dieticians at these hospitals, to remind them of PINNT's existence.  A couple of the hospitals have already agreed to include PINNT information in the literature they give to patients who are new to the world of artificial nutrition such as; PINNT's details, how to join etc. and their local contact.  I am hoping that all the hospitals will agree to this, in time.

It is my aim to keep the meetings informal but informative, giving everyone the opportunity to support each other through the good and bad days, and learn from each others experiences; after all who better to tell you what life is like on artificial feed than someone who is living that way themselves.

The group is open to adults, children. carers, existing members, prospective new members, and representatives from local hospitals.  It will be a place to make new friends and share the many experiences you have encountered living life 'on-line'.  However, the group will only be as good as those who support it, so it is up to you...
